This free e-book from Harvey Segal shows how you can spread the news about your site or product, just starting with a give-away like a free book, along with a way to spread it.

Of course the idea of giving away a PDF (with your website link in it) is not new or groundbreaking.

But Harvey explains how to combine the right ingredients so you can create a viral marketing plan that can really take off.

Harvey has years of experience with successful web based businesses. But this book is not just another account of "I know what works".

This book is about things that work together.

Some of what Harvey says and does is quite unusual – compared to the average internet marketing advice. And people have been describing his approach as astonishingly clever and even "pure genius".


Background

Well, you don't really need any background information given that this is a completely free book that you can read and judge for yourself.

But here are my comments anyway.

There certainly are some unusual ingredients in Harvey's way of doing marketing, for example:

  • You can read his free book with no strings attached: i.e. you don't even have to give anybody your email address in order to get the book.

This is unusual. Normally when somebody promises you free information about internet business you soon discover that you have to give them your email address first: then you know you are going to get emails from them forever.

  • Harvey gives his affiliates 100% of the sale price for selling some of his products.

100%? How does that work out for him?

How do you get your free information to spread all over the internet and bring traffic back to your site?

It's all explained in the book. Actually, the book doesn't just explain this, it also employs and demonstrates the methods that it describes – so you can see it in action.

You can probably work out that part of the answer is that you get other people to spread your free book (like I am promoting Harvey's free book right here).


But why am I promoting Harvey's free book for him?

Because a person going to Harvey's site might buy something from him some time, and then Harvey will give me 51% or possibly 100% commission on the sale.

Of course you could get these commissions too – you'll have to check out the book to see how that works.


Why would he give away free books and 100% commissions – and make nothing for himself?

Remember where all this started: it's about getting visitors to your website or telling customers something about your product.

In Harvey's book, there are (of course) links to his websites and products. So by giving away free books and 100% commissions he is telling people about his sites. Some of the visitors might become his loyal customers for years. So of course he can offer a good commission to anyone who will send a visitor to his site.
