E-ForexGold.

This page continues from this page:

It is about an 'independent exchange service', E-ForexGold. You can use E-ForexGold to fund egold accounts, and it is particularly useful for people who:

  • Are outside the USA
  • Have no USA bank account
  • Have no cedit card

E-ForexGold enables users in a lot of different countries to easily use internet banking to operate their e-gold account (and other electronic bullion accounts too).

E-ForexGold is not the only service for this. Some others are mentioned on this page where we have some notes about using exchange services.

Using E-ForexGold

E-ForexGold have bank accounts and accept cash deposits and local transfers in the following countries:
Australia, Austria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, India, Israel, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, USA.

(This list is likely to be out-of-date at any time: E-ForexGold are always adding to their list of countries where they have local bank accounts.)

You do not need to 'join' eForexGold or have an account there: you simply ask them to fund your e-gold account.

Below is an example of how it works:

Also, here is a narrow, side-bar type page with a step-by-step guide (with helpful screenshots). You can keep it open for reference while you use eForexGold to fund a gold account. (Opens in a new window.)

Example: Putting funds, i.e. e-gold, into your e-gold account.

  • On the page that opens, there is a form to complete, which is how you request your transaction.

Make sure that the address is correct and the connection is secure. In most browsers, when you are using a secure internet connection the address bar is yellow.

  • Fill out the order form with your details. Note: doing this this is not performing the transaction itself. You are really just emailing eForexGold to tell them what you want to do, i.e. fund your e-gold account.
  • More detailed information about this part of the process is in our handy guide.
  • You will soon get an email from eForexGold, saying something like this:
    Dear (Your Name),
Thank you for buying E-Gold through eForexGold.com.
The details of your order are at the end of this email.
If you find any mistakes in your order details, please e-mail us immediately.
    WHERE TO DEPOSIT YOUR FUNDS:
Account Name: (e.g. 'Technocash Pty Ltd')
Bank: (eForexGold's bank in your country)
Acct. no: (eForexGold's bank account number at the bank in your country).
Once your money is received, we will fund your e-currency account (usually within 24 hours) and will inform you that transaction is completed.
Once again, thanks for your order.
  • Check that the details about your order are correct on the email and use your usual internet banking (or other method) to put the money in eForexGold's account.
  • After you have made the payment, e-mail the following information to info@e-forexgold.com
    Your e-currency account number:
    Your name:
    Date of payment:
    Amount of payment:
    Order number:

eForexGold™ can now convert and transfer the funds to your e-currency account.
  • After one or two days you will get an email from eForexGold to confirm that your order is completed and your e-gold account has been funded.
  • You could log in to your e-gold account now and see how many ounces of gold it holds, and how much that is currently worth in different currencies, e.g. in US Dollars or in Euros.

Well, it sounds like a bit of fuss when we spell out every detail like this, but in practice it is very quick and easy.

Also, I know from experience that if anything goes wrong you can email eForexGold and get a reply fairly quickly. (I made a mistake on my order form once and had to email eForexGold to ask what to do about it.)
